Sometimes Things take a bit longer.
Sometimes things just take longer and there is no need to yank grass- it will not grow faster. But if you allow the grass to grow, if you water it and take good care of it then one day you have a beautiful lawn.
It is a matter of time and a question of development. Sometimes we are not yet the person we need to be to achieve a certain outcome or goal. We are like the grass, we need to be patient, we need to be nurtured and have the time and the space to grow.
So whatever you do, take your time.
Everything is alright. You are exactly where you need to be right now and if you keep going, you keep moving; you’ll get to where you want to go!
One really important thing is to NOT get frustrated and to STOP comparing you to others on a similar path.
Don’t pay attention to them.
Pay attention to yourself.
Look at the lessons you need to learn.
We are getting carried away so often by the impression that we get when watching/observing others.
We only see the illusion of them.
We only can see our interpretation.
We do not have a clue what they are truly thinking, what fears they are having, what worries they carry around and what keeps them awake at night.
So mind your own business.
It is totally fine to get inspired by successful people, but don’t compare yourself.
You are unique and so are they.
Why would you compare a red tourmaline with a sapphire?
You would not, right?
Both a beautiful gemstone and each of us might prefer one over the other but that is it! So be gentle with yourself and enjoy the steps on your journey.
Look at how far you have come.
Look at all the things you already have achieved.
All the things you have been trough.
For me, when I have these moments where I feel this restlessness inside. I try to relax, to breath, to pause for a moment and then to think of how far I have come, how much I have achieved and how many more super excited things are still in front of me, even if I might not see them right now.
I go into gratitude for all that has happened already and all that is happening and I ask myself:
What is the lesson I need to learn here?
If I do not find an answer I keep asking over and over and over again.
And one day I will have that AHA. I will know what I had to learn to move on.
So whenever you go for your dreams: Hope the best and expect the worst. And then deal with everything that comes your way.
“This too shall pass!” is a pretty good way to look at it which has served me well.
We all have challenges; we all have obstacles to overcome on our way to our dreams. So just take a deep breath and go for it! One step at the time. With all you got and enjoy the moment and your journey.
Stop JUST dreaming, act NOW!
Love
Christine
