Remembering your Dreams
Hi Gorgeous,
Do you find yourself sometimes in a situation where you realize that the months or weeks have passed and that you did not move forward one single inch to get closer to your dream?
That life has kept you so very busy that you totally forgot what you wanted in the first place?
I wish I could let you know it’s OK, but it is not.
There is time for everything but there is also an urge to go for your dreams and urge to live your life with passion, excitement, love, and fun on your terms.
We are here on this planet to enjoy and to go for what makes our heart sing and our soul dance.
If you are in a place where you hustle and hustle then something is not aligned. Something within you is not happy.
Don’t get me wrong, I hustle too. I am a very high-achiever. I want to get faster to my goals and my dreams and I am ready to do the work and yes sometimes I totally forget the fun part. The good thing is though that I realize that I am in the situation rather soon and then I can shift to what I really want to feel and how I want my life to be. And I get back to alignment.
Here are 8 things I do when I noticed that I fell off the wagon. And I want to share them with you, so you can go back to your dreams and take action, one step at the time while having a ton of fun.
1.) Getting the idea that I am hustling and working way tooooo hard right now
2.) I pause for a moment, take a deep breath and reflect on how long it will take me to finish the task that I am working on that moment
3.) Once I know how long I’ll need to finish up I decide to either finish it up or to take a break
4.) I remind myself that I want to take great care of myself and that I am my own boss and since I have the best boss ever I can do what feels aligned and good for me
5.) I usually go out for a walk in nature
6.) or I pause for a mediation
7.) I ground myself and I realize that the world will keep turning even without me (yes, that realization sometimes hurts for the ego, but it is the truth….everything will work without you- in a different way but eventually all will be fine- so relax )
8.) By putting myself first I ensure that my needs are taken care of. This might seem very egotistical but it also ensures that I can keep serving on a super high level because my cup is full.
So when I feel aligned again I can refocus and I can ask myself if I am going in the right direction. I can re-connect with my dreams and I can ask myself what is the one thing I can do today to get closer to my dreams.
Obviously, you need to know what your dreams are to ask this quesíon. In case you are not sure where to start and what to dream of because you are so caught up in life and in fulfilling someone else’s dreams, ask yourself: What would I enjoy right now?
Would it be the
-sun in my face
-a hot shower
-a piece of dark chocolate
– a walk in nature
– a cup of coffee or tea
– calling a friend and have a really good conversation
– cuddling your cat or dog or whatever animal is close to you and wants a cuddle
– smiling for no reason back at yourself in the mirror….
Whatever it is, take a minute and do something for you. It does not need to be a big thing…tiny things add up. Keep doing something for your SOUL, each and every day! Become the person you want to become and the world around you will align and support you.
Remember:
Stop JUST dreaming. Act NOW!
XOXO
Christine
