So what are all those things that you have accomplished in your life that you now can stack and really go into these feelings one by one by one so that you become your own biggest fan because you see everything you desire in life.
  • What is it that you truly, truly desire? Tune into that feeling.  Stack all these experiences that have given you confidence and see yourself executing. See yourself experiencing. See yourself succeeding.

[01:19] You might get the idea the more clients you can work with, the more results you help them produce, the more confident you always will be in what you do. Because confidence feeds confidence and good experience, great testimonials of your clients, success stories help you to boost that confidence.

[05:41] Find things that you were scared of, but then you did them and they worked out and the feeling of success. Just find that feeling. And really take that feeling and make a list and those things can be super, super tiny.

Hey Gorgeous. This is episode number 164. You are listening to Heart Sells! Podcast. I’m your host, Christine Schlonski. This again variety Friday. So welcome, welcome, welcome. Today I want to talk to you about confidence. Because you might get the idea the more clients you can work with, the more results you help them produce, the more confident you always will be in what you do. Because confidence feeds confidence and good experience, great testimonials of your clients, success stories help you to boost that confidence. So you can actually start today if you’re not already doing that, in confidence stacking. This is something that really has helped me when I started in my business because when you start your own business and you might be in this place right now, you don’t have any clients you work with because you are starting out. You are maybe at zero, or maybe you are in business but you are far off to where you actually want to be. Maybe you have a couple of clients or you sold a couple of your products. But there’s this huge gap from the revenue that’s coming into where you want the revenue to be. How do we close this gap? Well, we close this gap with these new clients, with supporting more people on their journey so that in exchange, we get money into the door, and this will also build your confidence.

If you don’t have enough clients yet, if you don’t have enough success stories yet, I would just recommend that you sit down with a piece of paper and you write down all the amazing stuff people have given you credit for. Maybe you jumped out of a plane. Maybe you did a parachute session, a tandem jump or something. Maybe you climbed a mountain. Maybe you ran a marathon. Whatever it is, find things in your life that really gave you self confidence. That helps support you to see you as your own hero. I know that this is kind of difficult for most heart-centered people because we are often so focused on others, that we don’t give ourselves enough credit, who we are. What I want you to do for boosting your confidence is to get really, really clear in all the accomplishments you have in your life.

I’m just going to go with my example because this is how I can show you how I have done it and then you apply it into your life and that will help you to move forward and to show up with more confidence. I used to work in high ticket sales over the phone. When I started out, I was so, so clueless. I just really followed a script. I didn’t really know what I was doing. I really wasn’t that confident, because I didn’t know what I was doing. I had to push myself to pick up the phone to talk to people. I love the product. I was really excited about that job opportunity. But on the other hand, I didn’t have any experience. So to help me in that process, I sat down, and I kind of made a little review on where I was in my life and what had happened in the past that gave me confidence. Like, what kind of competitions did I win? What kind of grades did I get in school? How did I pass my exams at university or in college?

So you can do the same for you. In case you haven’t passed great exams, just skip this point, don’t get hung up and stuff that didn’t work out. Just focus on the things that worked out and that makes you really, really proud. That could be that you supported other people, that you taught other people something. That you did something that totally scared you, but you overcame that fear.Things like climbing a mountain, or jumping into the sea or jumping out of a plane with a parachute. Whatever it is, like find things that you were scared of, but then you did them and they worked out and the feeling of success. Just find that feeling. And really take that feeling and make a list and those things can be super, super tiny. It could be stuff like you were afraid of spiders, but then you dare to touch one. Or you have one run over your hands, or you were afraid of talking to people. But then you managed to ask some guidance on the way in a, maybe in a faraway country where you didn’t speak the language. Like all the stuff that has made you proud and some kind of way shape or form.

When you have created the list, I hope that there are lots and lots of stuff on that list. That could be stuff like you always say, yes, but then there was this moment where you decided you want to start saying no to things that you don’t want it. Where you set boundaries for yourself. Where you showed up in a different way. Where you said no to people that weren’t good for you, but yes to the people that supported you and that you could learn from. Hopefully, you really create a really cool list and a long list. But no matter what’s on your list, what you do the next step to really boost your confidence. You take each and every point on your list. You envision it, you feel it, and you really feel it. As long as the feeling grows stronger and stronger and stronger. And you feel that confidence, that feeling of success having succeeded was something that you were scared off. And you do this with every single point so that you really build up inside.

That you feel like a little superhero that has done amazing things. And now don’t tell me, “Well, Christine, but so often I have failed.” We all have, but building your confidence comes from failing, and then doing it right. Figuring it out. From being afraid of moving forward. From not daring to daring. So what are all those things that you have accomplished in your life that you now can stack and really go into these feelings one by one by one, so that you become your own biggest fan because you see everything you desire in life, you probably can find a way to work that. If you are maybe in your 50s right now and you always wanted to become a prima ballerina. All right, well, that’s probably not possible anymore. The window has kind of closed, but there might be other options just to condense. What is it that you truly, truly desire? Tune into that feeling.

Stack all these experiences that have given you confidence and see yourself executing. See yourself experiencing. See yourself succeeding. When this feeling is really, really build-up, then you just treasure it inside. You can envision it, you can, you know, put it in a little box and put that box in your pocket. Or you can just take it and imagine how you put it into your heart. That stays, waiting for the next moment for you to shine. To give you all the confidence you need. To give you the confidence to actually dial that number to that stranger you want to have a conversation with and potentially sell something, offer them their services. You really have to shift that mindset from you’re doing stuff to people, to you’re supporting people, you’re serving people. So really put those confidence pieces in place and see how and feel how that grows inside of you. Everything will change.

When you do the exercise you probably will sit up taller or stand up taller. Your shoulders will be back. Your neck is going to straighten. You probably have a smile on your face, you will feel some kind of contentment and happiness and being proud of yourself. It all dwells our best confidence, as pure confidence and with this confidence, you can do anything. Then from there, you just go into your next sales conversation. You just write your next post, to put it out there. You just have the conversation, you go, you hire your next coach or mentor. You just do stuff that you were a little bit afraid to do, but you knew it’s the right thing for you. So building up, that confidence is going to help you it’s gonna automatically after you have the clarity already and you know who to talk to. Coupled this confidence is gonna make your results So, so much better. And also help you to lead to be that thought leader, to be that leader, like leading your clients to results, leading your clients the past you’ve taken so that you are now better off and you can show them how to do it for themselves.
