    Love this podcast! The lifeblood of any business is sales and Christine does an amazing job of making sales something you'll fall in love with instead of dread. These podcasts are short and get staright to the point, filling you with both the knowledge and motivation to go out and bring in lots more money to your business by selling from your heart. [04:42] So setting an intention is so super important that I basically do it every day.

[05:10] If I don’t set an intention, my day is not as productive as I would like the day to be.

[05:41] To make it practical for you, especially business sales focus, you set your intention by actually having journaling prompts.

[07:03] I journal every morning, and I write down how I want my life to be as if it was already reality.

[07:20] By focusing on what I am grateful for, I am also setting an intention that I want more of this.

[11:05] The said intention, by repeating it over and over and over again, your self confidence will just grow, because you are shifting your self talk from having the experience that in sales conversations, you never ever really know what to say to while all of a sudden you trust that you will find the right words.

I’m so pumped to talk to you today about setting an intention. I feel it’s such an important topic because this is how everything in your life starts. By setting intentions, you actually activate your creative power that fulfills all of your needs, right? Every intention is the starting point of your dreams. Every intention is what you put out in the universe, to start manifesting to start making your dreams come true. No matter if you are dreaming about having your own business, about having your own podcast, about money, about relationships, about love about contribution, whatever it is that you are dreaming about. You need to set an intention so that you are having kind of a roadmap you know where you are starting. Gonna take you over the next variety Friday of how the whole podcast idea came about, and how I actually implemented and the intention grew into a reality. So this is going to be the topic for Episode 101 once we cross that big milestone, so you want to make sure that you subscribe that you never ever miss an episode.

So let’s go into the power of intention setting. Since this was also a topic that I discussed with Cindy Ertman last week. I hope you already have listened to those episodes, I think it was pretty amazing what she shared, and how she actually accelerated and her life and her business by setting intentions. So if you are a bit skeptical, I totally get that because I definitely was in your shoes. The way I was raised was pretty practical, there was not that much spirituality going on. You were good kid, you went to school, you got the good grades, and everything you did had to have like a practical kind of thing to it. So I am very practical, which is also good because I do take inspired action. But the whole spiritual part, I had to grow into this, I knew there was more. But I didn’t didn’t really know what it was or how I wanted to define it for me. So I became over time, a big, big fan of journaling. And journaling in combination with all the personal development I did, with all the books I read, with all the courses I took and the mentors and coaches I had. This part really developed because all the people around you will contribute into your ecosystem, they will contribute ideas, they will contribute success stories, they will contribute knowledge, and you can just take from them and learn from them.

So setting an intention is so super important that I basically do it every day. I do have my days where I just feel that I’m too busy, which is a little bit nonsense, because it’s not helping my day to evolve. But I’m just human, so sometimes I don’t do what I intend to do and then I find my way back. Because if I don’t set an intention, my day is not as productive as I would like the day to be. So what I regularly do is that I sit down in the morning, and I journal. And I know we talked about this before, it’s just to wrap it up, I have a journal, and I journal out how I would like my life to be as if it was already reality. So I’m setting that intention. And to make it practical for you, especially business sales focus, you set your intention by actually having journaling prompts. These are basically intentions that you write down, that you allow yourself to feel, you can hop on over to https://christineschlonski.com/gift, I will have my Sales Journaling Prompts available for you, where you can actually just download them. And then you can learn how to set your sales intention. Because once you set those intentions, and once you start feeling that they are true for you, magic will happen. And I have a PDF called Sales Journaling Prompts. And they are for your sales success. So I’m inviting you to download them and to use them on a daily base. So you can really shift that sales mindset.

I would use them like in the morning, but sometimes when things feel a little bit off, and you just feel you need to anchor in something amazing, you can just choose a couple of them and then write them out. So I journal every morning, and I write down how I want my life to be as if it was already reality. I have another very important journaling practice that I use and that is a practice of gratitude. So by focusing on what I am grateful for, I am also setting an intention that I want more of this. So for example, staying in the sales arena, if you have one, just say one amazing, amazing client, that you are just so happy that you get to support this client and the results are outstanding, then you would, for example, set intentions around that client, because where focus goes, energy grows. So you put your energy into the intention, your focus, and then you create more of it. So for example, I would write out while I am so super grateful for my client, then I put in the name and then I say something really positive about that person. So you put in your client, and you say something because she always takes past and inspired action. Because by following my advice, she just closed for new clients, and now has so many clients that she doesn’t have time to go and get new ones. “I am so super grateful”, and you just keep writing that or you can say, “I’m so super grateful and happy”, or, “I’m so blessed and grateful for that”, and you just write down what it is. When you actually go into and you really focus, that your attention on setting intentions, that is when you actually putting a seed, that is when you then you just you know, in your subconscious, you plant a seed. You will, for example, you’re saying, let’s say you are a bit fearful of sales, or you don’t really know what to say in the sales situations. You could just set the intention that when I’m in a conversation with my soulmate client, with my perfect client, I always have the right words that the person needs.

As you see, this is an intention that serves you because if she or he is your ideal client, your soulmate client, they will definitely connect, and you get the opportunity to support them, which then gives you also the opportunity to make your dreams come true because you helping them to make your dreams come true. I hope you’re kind of seeing the logic. So you putting out that intention. It’s just a thought, but by having the thought, by allowing the thought into your mind, you also create an emotion. We all know that emotions, that’s something in motion. Something will start to move, and your subconscious, your awareness shifting, because now you have the thought that even though, till now you don’t really know what to say in a sales conversation. By setting the intention that you will know what to say that in every sales conversation, you find the perfect words that your potential client needs to hear. So they can actually make the decision and step forward and work with you, that setting a powerful intention. The said intention, by repeating it over and over and over again, your self confidence will just grow, because you are shifting your self talk from having the experience that in sales conversations, you never ever really know what to say to while all of a sudden you trust that you will find the right words and you’ll start manifesting that. So it is a little bit an interesting process. I would love for you to really put your intentions and desires into writing. So you can release it to the universe. That might sound a little bit esoteric, and you can release it to whatever your belief system is. That’s totally fine. It’s just that you get clear on what is it that you desire. And that you put it into words, and that you feel into it, that you find out, “Do I really feel like I will find my words when I talked to a client?” Yes.

Every time I talk to a potential client, I find the perfect words and you start telling yourself that story. You start supporting your thoughts with that thought, so that these thoughts can actually spread out. Because when you know what to say in a sales conversation, when you know how to conduct it in a way that feels amazing to you, that feels aligned, that feels true to your values, that makes your heart sing because you’re about to get to serve another person, because they have some opportunity to say yes to you because they understood what you are doing, how you are doing it, how you can serve them, because you’re finding the right words, that’s going to make the difference.
