[00:38]: Today is variety Friday, where I am sharing my knowledge out of over a decade in cold calling people over the phone selling high ticket events. I’ve made thousands and thousands of calls. I have heard thousands of no’s over time, and it just made me stronger and approach sales in a very different way.

[02:31]: Hopefully one day soon, you will be able to say sales is love. Because you’ve got the concept, you shifted your mindset and you really are able to embrace a fun conversation, still asking for your price, and inviting the client and making them happy with your amazing services and products.

[04:08]:  I’m so excited today to talk to you about the power of testimonials. Because a long, long time still in my profession as a high performing salesperson selling over the phone, as well as in the early stages of my business, I did not really pay attention to testimonials.

[05:11]: Go to pages that you like and give them a like. If you love their services sit down, just give them a five-star review and let them know why! Support them with your energy and love, if you have received something that was of value to you. So I myself started doing that.

[07:50]: So you know, guys, when I read that review, my heart was full, I was so excited. And I mean there are amazing other reviews, I just want to make that to the point where you get that testimonial, where you know, all the work, you’re doing, all the efforts, it’s worth it because one person really got it.

[09:27]: When you are out in the world, and you’re doing your magic, it is really important that you ask your tribe, to give you testimonials to tell the world what happened when they worked with you.

[10:13]: Then you invest, what are you looking for? I can tell you what I’m looking for, I always look at the energy of the person, I look at the work they have done, I look at the testimonials.

[13:14]: When somebody listens to the testimonial, and this somebody is your potential client, you really want them to be drawn in so that you can use that third voice, that voice of somebody who has experienced you, who has worked with you, who has walked the path, that you require people to walk on so that they get the success they desire.

[17:19]: Line your clients up to support you and your journey because you’re supporting them. And it’s a beautiful energy exchange as well. So really enjoy asking for testimonial. Ask as often as you can. And ask as many people as you can, so that when you get them you learn something about yourself

I’m so excited today to talk to you about the power of testimonials. Because a long, long time still in my profession as a high performing salesperson selling over the phone, as well as in the early stages of my business, I did not really pay attention to testimonials. And it’s pretty simple. I just did not think about it. And also, you know, when we make our first steps, we might not be as confident as self-assured, we might not really know if the client has received the full value. And you know, we’re trying out things and you might be in that position right now. And testimonials or ratings or reviews or likes and hearts, and page likes are so important for every entrepreneur.

So I would love to you, to encourage you today was two things. Go to pages that you like and give them a like. If you love their services sit down, just give them a five-star review and let them know why! Support them with your energy and love, if you have received something that was of value to you. So I myself started doing that. You know, sometimes I do forget, and it’s not a daily routine. But I’m getting better and better. And really giving people the acknowledgment and celebrating them for their amazing gifts. Because when we get that encouragement, we are even more excited. And we even want to give more.

And I’m quite sure you have experienced that in your life when somebody really cheers you on, appreciates you. And really, you know values what you are giving, you really want to give more you are ready to up level to be the next person like the higher level person that you can be because we’re always on a journey of growth. So today, I want to start with our podcast review that I’ve just gotten a while ago that I did not even see because I haven’t checked. And when I read it, it really touched my heart. So let me read it to you. It’s written by Mindful Mel, I already love the name. And she gave me a five-star review for Heart Sells! Podcast and says “could not recommend it enough”. That’s already a beautiful start. She continues in saying listening to Heart Sells! Podcast has felt like meeting a soulmate. So you know, guys, when I read that, my heart was full, I was so excited. And I mean there are amazing other reviews, I just want to make that to the point where you get that testimonial, where you know, all the work, you’re doing, all the efforts, it’s worth it because one person really got it. One person was able to change their mindset, their view, they were able to make changes in their life and their business and now they are better off. And for you as a heart-centered driven entrepreneur, it might be the same as for me, there is nothing sweeter and more exciting in this world than if somebody gives you amazing feedback, and cheers you on. Which leads over to the topic of testimonials, right? Because if people can give you a testimony to your work and how powerful it is, it will help you on your journey, it will help you in case you might have a client that is not quite sure or potential client, that is not quite sure if you are the right fit, they might be on the fence. And, they need that little tiny extra voice that tells them work with her. So, when you are out in the world, and you’re doing your magic, it is really important that you ask your tribe, to give you testimonials to tell the world what happened when they worked with you. What you don’t want is testimonials of you know friends and family who just say that you are nice person. That’s great. We all have people that think that we are nice and lovely people. But that does not make you money, that does not really support your business.

Because people who are looking to invest with you, they want to know what are the results. So have a look at yourself. When you invest, what are you looking for? I can tell you what I’m looking for, I always look at the energy of the person, I look at the work they have done, I look at the testimonials. And, I really try to get a good picture and a good feel for who I will be signing up with. Because I want to make wise decisions for my business and my life. At the end of the day, I want to come out as a better person. After taking the program, after doing the coaching, after investing my time and my money. And I’m quite sure for you it is the same and for your clients to invest with you, they will have a look at that. So if you have not really paid attention to testimonials, they can be so powerful. Just other people, not yourself saying how amazing you are, and how valuable your work has been to their life. So in a testimonial, you really want to look at where did the person start, right? Because they can say, well, we got this amazing results.

But, if you don’t know where they started, you don’t see the journey. So, you want to see like, where did they start? So for example, my clients stated, they feel pushy or sleazy, they feel like they can’t really make a sale, they feel like selling is not something nice that their stomach my turn that they might stammer on the words, that they might choke when they make an offer. So, this is the starting point. Working with me, I take them through a process. And you know, they evolve, they change, they shift their mindset and at the end of the day, the question is, what are the results? So, the results is I feel so much better. And when doing sales, I understood that sales can be fun, I don’t have sales conversations anymore. I have fun conversations. And all that leads to sales, leads to me getting new clients into my business, getting revenue, adding to my bottom line, making more money, and being able to pay for the lifestyle I truly desire. So that our results. And the more clear your clients can be about the results, the better. If you have somebody that can state publicly that they have worked with you, and they have just, you know, gotten in their next client for a high ticket price of 25,000 or 50,000, 100,000, whatever it is, that is really amazing. Because that is a real a clear result. And you want to go for results as clear as they can get. Some people are not willing to talk about the numbers. So you have to accept that as well. And that’s totally fine.

But when somebody listens to the testimonial, and this somebody is your potential client, you really want them to be drawn in so that you can use that third voice, that voice of somebody who has experienced you, who has worked with you, who has walked the path, that you require people to walk on so that they get the success they desire. And that states how that work was for them. So, have the structure in place, that when you ask people to do a testimonial, ask them to tell them where they started to tell them what happened in the process, and to ask them, where are they now due to the work that you have done together? And then you have a beautiful structure for attached testimonials that will really support you. Because people talk about results. They talk about that they are happier, they talk about that they added to their bottom line, they talk about that they shifted their mindset, they talk maybe about that you change their life. So if you want to get some ideas, hop on over to christineschlonski.com, and just go to the tab, “Praise” and see how the testimonials are structured and take that structure, right, borrow it from me, and put your testimonials this way because it will really support your business, when other people can see what you have done. But not by you telling them, but by them having a look at other success stories. And, you know, the more you got, the better it is. So just put out and share with people what it feels like working with you, right? And that is the beautiful power of testimonials. And, that will really get you into your business to a new place a better place, and it will really help you to make your sales easier. Because other people are talking about you. They are a testimony to your beautiful work to, your wonderful gifts, and you might find out that what they say you would have never been able to voice or to articulate.

Because you haven’t even thought that way, they get out so much more that you are not aware of. So it’s beautiful for you to see. And, it also helps future marketing material that you might put out and form of a sales letter or an invitation to buy from you by using these words from the testimonials. So I really, really hope that episode helps you in putting yourself out there more. Have your clients brag about you. I mean, I’m, I’m a big fan of you should do some bragging yourself in a beautiful way because people need to understand what they get working with you. But it should be heart-centered, and really authentic. So don’t set yourself up for you know, like a big brag and then you don’t feel it, you are afraid of sharing it. Find a way that feels authentic. And for me, I have found that clients talking about me is so much easier than you know bragging yourself. And by, by bragging I do mean like showing your results, and if they are impressive for lots of people that is bragging. But we should be in the position that we can talk about what we are capable of, what we are capable of doing and who we are capable of serving. So really have a look at your beautiful products and services, and see how they are changing the world, and start talking about it. And line your clients up to support you and your journey because you’re supporting them. And it’s a beautiful energy exchange as well. So really enjoy asking for testimonial. Ask as often as you can. And ask as many people as you can, so that when you get them you learn something about yourself.
