So today, we are going to be back to the Sales P.O.W.E.R. Formula which I already touched on in some of the episodes before. And if you haven’t listened, make sure you check out the variety Fridays where it says Sales P.O.W.E.R in the title and Sales P.O.W.E.R. is a formula I came up this that I put together where I take people through a process to lose their fear in regards to sales, and to actually have fun conversations instead of sales conversations.
So the P.O.W.E.R. System power stands for P. For the past, we have touched on that already in a previous episode. The O is for opportunities and outcome, we have touched that as well. The W is for your personal why we have discussed that. And today we’re going to go into the letter E, which stands for emotions. And yeah, emotions is such an important part, if not even the most important part of each and every single person’s life. Because how we feel creates our decision making, creates our action taking. And our action taking actually determines our results. So if you’re fearful in regards to sales, you will probably have less conversations, less sales conversations, or maybe you don’t even have sales conversations at all. And therefore, the outcome will be that you’re not making any sales, which means you’re not serving people with your gift. And also you’re not making any money which than is not good for you. Because you need money as an energy exchange to create a business and life you truly, truly love. Because everything in today’s world you need to pay for, right, if you want to travel somewhere you need to pay, if you want to buy something for your company, maybe a software that makes your life easier, maybe you want to have some advertising some I don’t know business materials, like even a pen or pencil for your business you need to pay for it was money.
So it is really, really crucial that you make sure that you have enough revenue coming in to cover your business expenses. And as well to leave you with a really nice and healthy profit. Because that’s the difference if you will struggle or if you will thrive and, and just a little reminder here, the more money you have, the better because the more amazing things you can do. And I’m not just talking about of you. And you know, your private life like traveling, and then maybe traveling business class or first class enjoying a vacation and a really nice hotel, maybe inviting family members and things like this, I’m talking about giving back. Because once you got enough money and you really took care of yourself, then you can have that broader vision of what can you do to actually help other people who are not as fortunate to thrive. And for me, that’s a very important part. I always have some organizations I’m supporting. And I’m making sure that part of what I do is supporting them. Because it makes me feel amazing. Even though the people I’m supporting, I might never meet them. But just knowing that I contributed, and that I did something to make the world a better place by supporting another person is a wonderful, wonderful feeling. So I know you’re all heart centered. That’s why you listening to this podcast. That’s why this draw you in.
And as a heart centered person, you probably want to give even more. And the good way to give more is to have more and to have more you can have and you serve more. And to serve more about you need to be more. And I’m not saying that you you’re not good where you are right now. But just by shifting a tiny bit to allow another person to purchase your products, your services to be on a journey with you where you can truly serve and where you can truly support them with their business or with their relationships or with their health. That is going to be a wonderful win win situation. Just as Van mentioned in his review for the podcast that is just going to support everybody who’s playing that game.
So to get better, better emotions, it is that you need better thoughts. And that’s why people do call me the Queen of the Sales-Success-Mindset. Because it starts with your mindset. If you manage to switch the words you’re using, the thoughts you’re having, that will produce different emotions in your body. And by producing different emotions in your body like positive emotions instead of maybe negative emotions, that will lead to different actions, right. If you are totally excited about having a sales conversation, and you can’t wait to talk to your potential customer to show them a possible solution that they will be getting by purchasing your amazing services or products that is a different approach emotionally, then when you are afraid that this conversation might not work out. Or you could come across pushy or sleazy or whatever. So in the emotions E for the emotions in the P.O.W.E.R. Formula this is the part where you need to go deep in discovering what creates wonderful emotions that help you to serve more by selling more.
So here’s how you can do it. I’m just going to give you a couple tips, you can actually sit down and write out or write down all the wonderful people you have supported with your services and the results they have gotten. And sometimes for you, it might seem that it’s a tiny result, like somebody feels better. But just imagine the ripple effect of them feeling better, that creates different emotions with in them. And that creates different actions. And different actions create a different outcomes. So you’re, you’re getting the spin, right? So by really, really helping you to shift your mindset, you giving yourself permission to serve on a bigger scale.
So when you sit down and you you write out or you journal out, all the people that you have served where you have made a difference, write as long as you can, when you’re starting your business, you know, might be a handful of people. But think along the way, like in your life, where have you supported someone with your gifts to help them to make their life better? To help them to have more of what they wanted in their life? So once you’ve written that down, you might be amazed of how many wonderful things you’ve already done.
And then the second part is you read through that again, and you feel the gratitude. You feel how amazing it felt to support that person. You feel how amazing it felt when you got the feedback about their results. You feel how amazing it felt when maybe you were in a one on one conversation and you were able to look them in the eyes, like feel them. Feel that energy. Cherish that energy. Allow yourself to keep that smile on your face that just appeared when you think about the success of the people you’re served. And I don’t know if you can hear it in my voice. I definitely hear the difference from when I started recording this episode, I have a pretty big smile on my face. Because right now I’m going through all my clients. And I’m going through the feedback in my mind while I’m talking to you. I can see the beauty I can see that gifts, I can see how far they have come, how successful they become and how that changed and impacted their life. So it is such a gift and honor to serve many, many people.
So think about where you want to go. And then just think about how could you make it easy? How could you make it easy for you by having fun conversations. So my number one tip, in addition to all the tips you’ve already gotten but in case you haven’t written anything out, just think when you have your next conversation. Don’t think of it as a sales conversation. Think of it as a fun conversation. Something where you just want to learn about the potential client, where you want to figure out what they need. And then if it is the space for it. If they are a perfect fit to what you offer, then you just make an invitation to work with you. And by invitation I don’t mean give you stuff away. That’s for sure. I do not mean that. B invitation I mean making an offer by just you know, having that conversation and then saying, Well, you know, this is what I’m doing and I think it would be a perfect fit. I really see how I could support you. Is this something you would be interested in? And then when they say yes, you take it further and you make your offer. If they say no? Well, then that’s no you got to know the person. You might want to figure out why they said no, to get some kind of feedback. And often it is that they did not understand everything correctly. So maybe it leaves the opportunity for you to do some adjustments and your communication and then make an offer. But maybe it’s not the right time. Right.
So that’s basically it where you can shift your emotions. By understanding the words you are telling yourself. The words you’re using to describe sales is most of the time not only helpful and in your way. So once you managed to shift that to shift into a sales-success-mindset where you know that sales feels amazing. And that sales is fun. And that sales means serving. And if you have been following me, you know that sales is love, then you really change your outcome. And you change the way you communicate. You change the way how you interact with a potential client. And that will definitely leave you with more opportunities to serve and more opportunities to serve will mean more clients for you that you can serve. Which will also mean more money in your bank, which then means more money to pay for your dreams and to create what ever you want to create.
