Hi Gorgeous, this is episode number 014 with your host Christine Schlonski and you are listening to Heart Sells! Podcast, I am so super excited you’re here. It is another variety Friday and on variety Fridays, I am answering your questions, I am sharing amazing resources or I share some of my sales knowledge that I have acquired over the last 15 years, to help you to thrive in your business. So let’s dive right into variety Friday. So far, I have covered one episode about mindset and what your mindset actually has to do with the German Autobahn. We have talked about the Sales P.O.W.E.R. Formula, which is an eight-week online course. But I decided to share parts of it here, so you can basically just grab it and go with it to be more confident when you make your offers to your ideal clients, to make offers with ease, and grace and confidence and enjoy the sales process while asking for your price. And I think that’s pretty amazing. So far, we have covered of the Sales P.O.W.E.R. Formula, a little bit of the P where the P goes into the past, the past experiences. We have talked about the O which stands for opportunities and this that O opportunities, we have covered the part that you’re amazing clients are getting when they work with you. So check out for variety Fridays, episodes two, episodes five, and episode eight.
And today I want to talk about your own opportunities. What happens when you say yes to yourself, what happens when you actually make an offer to your ideal client with confidence, with ease with grace. And when you ask your price, when you ask the price you truly I really want to receive for your amazing gifts for your amazing products and services that you offer.
All right. As you know, we do have a limited time together. And I’m gonna do my best to give you an idea. So you can take it run with it, implement it. Because I’m all about implementation. If you haven’t figured that out by yet. And from there, you will have a different life. Because an opportunity to make a sale is so important. For one, you are giving your gifts to the world. You can do your purpose work. You can unleash what you are here for, which is already an amazing thing. So by making a sale, you actually invite another person who is a need of what you have to offer to transform their lives, which is super, super important and we talked about it in the last episode. But also you give yourself the opportunity to get an energy exchange. So I see money as a form of energy. And the whole world is made out of energy. So you actually need to receive money because you know, you cannot ask your clients to give you chickens or bread or eggs or come and clean your house or, you know, work in your garden. But I’m quite sure you could do that but I don’t see that you wanna do that. And after the fifth person has offered you to work in your garden, or the work might be already done. And you have no need for somebody else to come to work in your garden.
So the best thing to do is say to take money. Because that money you can decide what you want to exchange it for. Maybe you want to exchange it for an amazing vacation. Maybe you want to travel the world. Maybe you just want to invite your mom to dinner. Or maybe you want to have a nice weekend away from everybody with your loved one.
Whatever it is you desire. It all becomes possible the freedom that you crave when you ask for money for your services. And I know that heart-centered entrepreneurs so often have difficulties asking for their price. Because let’s face it, the issue we all are having, which includes everybody on this planet, something comes to you and you don’t need to work hard for it because it is your gift or you have crafted over the years and now it seems so easy. It’s like a habit. It’s something that you just do, you often don’t understand that what seems easy to you and what you kind of forget to appreciate and to value yourself. For others it’s world-changing, its life transforming. So if you support a person, and all of a sudden, they have a better life. They live, let’s say, 30, 40, 50 years happier. Or they’re all of a sudden healthier, they can do things they couldn’t do before. That is priceless. So just keep that in mind. Whatever you do, whatever your gift is, there is somebody on this planet who would give anything to get it and to change their personal life. So I want you to see that by asking for money it is just an energy exchange. And giving and taking needs to be in harmony, right. And Bob Burg explained that so beautifully in his interview. So check out episode number three, and episode number four, where he said money taking money receiving money that’s like oxygen, right? We breathe in oxygen, and we breathe out carbon dioxide. And for the plants and trees, they need that. They breathe in carbon dioxide to produce oxygen. And we breathe in oxygen for us to give them carbon dioxide. So there is this exchange, there is this balance, this harmony, and everything is just aligned. And that’s the same as your services. So by giving your wonderful services products to the world, you need to have an equal exchange. Now, I’m just assuming here that you don’t give crappy stuff to the world, okay, that you are not out there to cheat on somebody to just get the money and run I’m talking to you the heart-centered driven entrepreneur who just wants more, who knows that they can support more, give more, live more and really enjoy not only their life, but help others to make their lives better. So if you have that energy exchange, and somebody is actually investing into your product into your service, you help that other person to stretch, right? If your services are dirt cheap, nobody is really stretching when they put down that money. It is not really a stretch. And it always depends on where the other person comes from. Right? For somebody who doesn’t have money, $10, $100 might be a huge amount. Well, if you ask that from a millionaire, it might not do anything that they might not see the value you provide by just giving you 10 bucks, maybe from them, you need to take like 100,000 to make an impact so they can stretch. So what I’m trying to say us who do you serve? Be really clear about your own audience, like Who do you serve? Who’s your ideal client? And make sure that by giving your gifts to the world, you are asking in return money, so you have an energy exchange and you want to provide so much more value to your audience, then you’re asking for money. So you just need to do an amazing, amazing job and providing that value and helping your clients to grow. But also you need to make sure that you are taken care of, because I see that over and over and over again, especially with coaches, with creatives, with healers. We all get so excited when we can do something when we can serve when we can support that we forget to ask that money part because it feels uncomfortable, because we don’t know how to approach it. Because we haven’t practiced. We might not have the right mindset, we might not think in a supporting way about money.
So we sabotage ourselves. And you know, I for sure have been there. I never intended to be in sales and yet I did an amazing career in the corporate world, starting as a Sales Executive, all the way up to Sales Director by changing my beliefs around sales, around money, around receiving, around giving. And I know that you can do that too. So see yourself first, which means before you give more and more and more, you need to make sure that you’re you are taken care of, that your cup is full, you don’t want to give from your cup you want to give from your saucer. You want to make sure that you strive, that your energy is in the right place. Because that ensures that you can serve for a long time, that ensures that you can give your gifts to the world and you can always do something nice for people who can’t afford it. Because that’s often what I hear well, but what about all the people who can’t afford it. Well, you come up with ideas. I know many people who have a thriving business and four days of the week, for example, they have high ticket coaching clients. And then one day of the week, they just give to people that can’t afford it. But that make a stretch. So remember, you are your own boss, you can make the decision. What I want to stretch in this session is that you need to take care of yourself. Nobody needs another burned out person, another poor person, a person that’s in a scarcity mindset, because you can’t be supportive from there.
I’ve met so many amazing people that are rich, that have a business, they love a life they love. And they are the most nicest people I’ve ever met. Because they can afford to be nice all the time. Because they go out and they give to the world so much more, because they have more to give. And I want you to be in the situation, I want you to be in a situation where you have a business and life that you just love and adore where you are jumping out of bed each and every morning, excited about the day not worried where your next clients are coming from, or how you’re going to earn that money or whatever. I want you to be in the position to be rich from the inside and the outside, to be happy and healthy and giving because your cup is full. So in order to do this, you need to start to charge for your services. What you truly, truly want to charge. Don’t go out and charge $350 for your VIP day. If in reality you want the 2000 or you want the 5000. Deliver the value, when you deliver the value you can charge your price. So just make sure that you deliver the value, right. There’s so many people out there who have amazing products and charge amazing money because they can.
And I want you to see that you can too because the richer you become, the wealthier you become the more you can give. And this is something that often we do not see. We forget about it because what our gifts they come easy to us, it’s we don’t need to struggle with just using those gifts and so we just assume it’s easy for everybody. And if it’s easy for everybody that we can’t take any money. So forget that part because it’s not true. Your gifts are unique and I don’t care if you now tell me well Christine, but you know I’m a coach. I’m a life coach and there are hundreds of thousands of life coaches. Well, you know what, there’s only this one life coach with the experience that you have. With the life that you live with the knowledge that you have. So there’s only this one person and that one person is you and you will attract your right tribe when you step up, when you show yourself to the world when you share your message. So please take the O and the P.O.W.E.R. system the O for opportunity and give yourself the opportunity to grow, the opportunity to say yes to yourself, to say yes to your gift, to say yes to receive money from your clients so that you can create a life and business that you just love.
